To submit a job posting or upload your resumé/cv, you must be logged in. If you are not a member you may create a guest account by registering as a non-member. It is important that you are signed in as a member or signed in as a non-member. Signing in allows us to better assist you with your purchase.

Items to Note

  • Keep the email that has your confirmation of order placed. The link under "Manage Career Postings" is the link you will use to populate the job posting AND if you need to edit the posting in the future, you will use that link.
  • You are ALSO able to manage your job postings and upload your resumé/cv through your user profile. Under Networking & Careers.
  • If you are unable to submit your form or have questions about an error message, please view our Career Center FAQs. Most likely your answer will be found here.
  • If you contact us about a posting, please have the following information available: the posting title, a general date of the initial posting, the Member Name or Non-member Name of the account the posting is under.
  • Read our Career Center FAQ's for more information on editing, posting, invoices, error messages, and more.

Submit a Resumé/CV (free to post for members)

To submit a job you must first sign in, then purchase a job posting from our e-store (the "submit a job" link above will take you to the e-store). By signing in you will have your job posting linked to your account and you will be able to edit the posting under Manage Profile and the area Networking & Careers.

PLEASE NOTE: After you purchase your job posting, use the link in the Order Email from AHRD to manage career posting. Find your job posting (may be listed as "Untitled") online (using the link). Click the red circle to make it green (active) and then select the pencil/paper icon to edit and add information to the job posting. This makes your job posting active or inactive.

*Job postings may take up to 48 hours after you submit them to appear in the Career Center. Job postings are for 90 days.

**Postings are free for PEN Members. PEN Members: Download this form (docx) and complete the job posting fields. We will ask for the completed form to post your job. Please contact the AHRD office at office@ahrd.org or Jazzy at jasperm@ahrd.org. Please do not send any PDFs to the office. We do not accept PDFs of job postings or descriptions.

Once your purchase is complete you will be sent an email with an invoice. This is your confirmation and it will have a link to the submission form. After you enter the information (using the link in your confirmation invoice) you will be able to post your job. If you do not receive an invoice, check your Junk mail or Spam Inbox for it. Read the FAQ's for additional questions. In the How to Apply / Contact area of the form please do not copy & paste.

When I go to purchase a job posting, the incorrect price is showing.

I never received my email invoice.

The link from my invoice to my job form is not working.

When I go to submit the job form, I get an error message.

When I go to purchase a job posting, the incorrect price is showing.

Please sign in to the website before purchasing a job to be sure you are receiving the correct price and information. If you are a member or non-member, please sign in.

I never received my email invoice.

Invoices are sent to the email address associated with the member who is purchasing. If you are purchasing on behalf of another member, the invoice will be sent to that member. If you are the member posting and have not received the invoice, please check your spam folder as emails sometimes get blacklisted. If you still haven't received an email invoice, request another copy.

The link from my invoice to my job form is not working.

Links become active once payment has been processed. If you still can't access the job form and payment has been processed, you can access the form from your member profile.

  • Go to "My Profile" and select "Manage My Member Profile"
  • Scroll down to "Networking & Careers" and select "Career Postings"
  • Find your job posting (may be listed as "untitled") and select the pencil/paper icon to edit.
  • If your job form is not appearing in your member profile as listed above, please contact office@ahrd.org or Jazzy at jasperm@ahrd.org.

When I go to submit the job form, I get an error message regarding too many characters in the application field, but my information is under the character limit.

Try refreshing the page, then typing the application information manually instead of copying & pasting from Word or another program. The How to Apply / Contact area may not accept copy & paste, especially if you are using Word.

Resubmit the form. You should still be able to copy & paste your general job information into the details field.

I've submitted my job, but it's not appearing on the website.

Job postings may take up to the 48 hours (or two business days) to be posted on the site, not including weekends or holidays. This also includes any revisions to jobs already posted.

  • Issue #1 - Missing Information
    Job postings are reviewed for missing detail information before they are made active. Jobs missing detail information will not be made active. Please be sure you have all the correct information listed in your job posting by viewing the posting in your member profile.

    Go to "My Profile" and select "Manage Profile"
    Scroll down to "Networking & Careers" and select "Career Postings" (this will only show if you have purchased a job posting)

    Find your job posting (may be listed as "Untitled") Click the red circle to make it green and then select the pencil/paper icon to edit. This makes your job posting active or inactive.

    Fill out any missing information and re-submit. Once you re-submit, the job posting may need to be approved again. You may also contact us to alert us to the edit. This will make the approval process faster.

  • Issue #2 - Inactive Posting
    AHRD will not post jobs that are marked as "inactive" on the submission form. If you're not sure if your post is active or inactive, you can check your job posting through Manage Profile, Networking & Careers.

    Go to "Career Postings" under "Networking and Careers"
    Click the red button (inactive status) to change it to green (active status) OR
    Select the pencil/paper icon to edit, and select "Active" under the "Status" option.
If your post already has all the needed information and has an active status (green button), and it's still not posted after 48 hours, please contact office@ahrd.org or jasperm@ahrd.org.

I can't view or submit my resumé/cv.

Viewing and submitting resumé/cv's is a feature available to members only. If you are a member, please sign in to access this feature.
